Oh hey world,
My name is Arielle Ramos and my intention with this blog is to share my experience, knowledge, and passion for raw foods in hopes to inspire others to create healthy, happy and fuckin YUMMY lifestyles.
A little about myself: I am a certified yoga instructor, I act, sing, I tell some jokes, but most importantly I am a HUGE food lover. I eat ... a lot. Seriously. Ever since I was a kid I always out ate my vaginally challenged counter species and was a top earning member of the clean plate club.
What I have learned is that diets, cleanses and straight up not eating may work temporarily, but inevitabley you will always gain the weight back and reek havoc on your body in the process. What we need is a lifestyle change, an overhaul of our eating and thinking about food.
Sure the master cleanse works if you wanna drop water weight and shit you brains out for a week straight, but as soon as you start eating real food again you will gain all if not more of the weight you lost back.
And ya Atkins is great if you enjoy eating rotting hormone ridden flesh of once living, breathing, feeling, harmless animals that our bodies can't process anyways, but have fun dying at 45 like Mr Atkins himself.
And absolutely, South Beach rules if you like downing aritifical sweetners with chemicals known to cause cancer and consuming milk products aka pus laden cow juice only infant cows should be drinking, creating gas, acne, and muccus and cutting out fruit completely.
And as much as I think being vegan is fab, relying on getting protein from soy and wheat products is just plain toxic. Processed foods are gnarly and you can be just as unhealthy as a veagn as you can be as a meat eater.... even unhealthier. But more on that later.
The secret to staying babely and more importantly healthy is eating a plant based diet, full of variety and flavor. In this blog you will find exactly how to that while ridding yourself of any shame, guilt, calorie counting and all other disordered eating habits so prevelent in women today.
So enjoy. Eat raw. And thrive.
